GLOBAL BASKETBALL ALLIANCE (WGBA) Announce Global Broadcasts!

April 29, 2008

The Women's GLOBAL BASKETBALL ALLIANCE is proud to announce a new global broadband broadcast network in partnership with Mizlou Sports & News Network, Inc. –also known as “MSNN”- to broadcast their spring basketball games.  MSNN, a joint venture of three (3) international media entities, was recapitalized and reincorporated in 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia, USAMSNN at that time began developing www.MizlouSports.tv in order to have a platform to broadcast sporting events over the internet in over-the-air television quality.  Beginning March 2008, www.MizlouSports.tv will have available to consumer viewers the network's programming on both a monthly subscription basis as well as an “a la carte” VOD basis.  Initially, sporting events available to view feature archived shows of professional boxing, professional wrestling, professional basketball, and professional arm wrestling.

The WGBA’s media division will work with team licensees to have their basketball games televised with MSNN through either a license basis or revenue sharing.  States WGBA General Manager Don “Moose” Lewis, “I am thrilled for the WGBA and its team licencees to have this opportunity to showcase their female players from around the world with a partner with the name recognition of Mizlou. The name has a great history and we plan to once again bring it back to its former prominence.  Also, by partnering with MSNN, this will give the team licensees an additional revenue stream for their their basketball team and also to get paid for their game archives-not to mention that it allows players to showcase their ability and receive the opportunity to move up to a higher league and a more lucrative payscale.  This is truly a winning day for all parties.”

MSNN plans to have free content uploaded in February for viewers to preview the quality of broadcasts.
